Patricia Claus

Patricia Ann (Ollesch) Claus, 80, of Decatur, IL passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at the McKinley Court Care Centre in Decatur. Funeral services will be on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at 11:00am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to: St. John's Lutheran Church or Easter Seals. Patricia was born on Nov. 17, 1933, the daughter of Robert L. and Mildred Irene (Rannebarger) Ollesch. She married Wick (Jerry) Claus, Jr., in Decatur, on Sept. 7, 1973 and he has preceded her in death. Patricia was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and enjoyed wildlife, bird watching, painting and ceramics. She was employed as an office administrator by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., for over 30 years. Patricia is survived by one sister, Mary Ollesch of Decatur, IL; and one nephew, Glen Ollesch (and wife Judi) of Maroa, IL. Also surviving are great-nephew, David Ollesch of Charleston, IL; great-niece Katie Ollesch of Buffalo, NY; great-niece Bridget Ollesch of Maroa, IL; and great-niece Megan Ollesch of Clinton, IL. Patricia also leaves cousin, Ron White of Decatur, IL. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and husband. "
