Patricia Bundy, 88, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 at her home.
Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Patricia was born July 5, 1937 in Decatur, the daughter of James Amos and Viola Mae (Coate) Myers. She married Paul L. Bundy on May 20, 1955 in Decatur. They celebrated 64 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 17, 2019. Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandkids. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are her sons: James Lee Bundy and wife, Linda and David Wayne Bundy and wife, Julie all of Decatur; grandchildren: Tyler Bundy and wife, Kate, Kallie Bundy Alzamora and husband, Abe, Daniel Bundy and wife, Casey, and Leigh Martin and husband, Micah; great-grandchildren: Reagan, Teagan, and Theo; special niece, Pam Plain of Lady Lake, FL; great-nieces: Nicole Goodrich and husband Brian of Bradenton, FL, Laura Plain Gonzalez and husband, Alex of Umatilla, FL; sisters: Wanda Haney and Betty Petrowsky, both of Decatur.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; 5 brothers; and 5 sisters.
