Patricia Lucille Bell (Pat) formerly of Decatur, Ill. passed away on June 5, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Arvada, Co. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, June 14, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.Pat was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois, daughter of William and Mable Pier. She attended Stephen Decatur HS in Decatur and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Pat married William “Bill” Bell on April 6, 1957. She worked at First National Bank and then at Mueller/ Tyco Co. for 28 years until she retired. Pat and Bill were great hosts and known for their parties and fish fries. She enjoyed hosting family, their Caterpillar community and friends. In 2010, Pat relocated to Colorado to be close to her daughters and grandchildren. Pat was a Resident Ambassador at her living center in Arvada. She loved to play cards, especially Pinochle. She also enjoyed Bingo, Bunco and visiting with all of her neighbors. She loved watching Illini Basketball, eating popcorn, steak-filet mignon, and Steak-n-Shake hamburgers. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents and two brothers and seven sisters.Surviving are her children; daughter Janet Bridges (Marlon) Broomfield, Co.; Bryan Bell (Robin) St. Louis, Mo.; Liz Bell, Lakewood, Co. Sister: Nancy Simroth (Don). Pat’s greatest joy was being Grandma Pat to her grandchildren: Mary, Kevin, Derek, Nick, Lauren and Anna. Great-grandchildren: Henry and John. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Brookdale hospice, Clarebridge memory care and Brookdale assisted living center. "
