Pamela Burnett

Pamela Kaye Burnett, 58, of Decatur, IL, passed away on March 27, 2012, at 4:00 P.M., and went to meet her parents on the wings of angels. She was taken from us way too soon. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M, Monday, April 2, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 9 P.M., Sunday, April 1, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Decatur-Macon County, 2890 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Decatur, IL 62526. Pamela was born March 17, 1954, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of James R. and Mary Hetta (Keller) Burnett. Pamela worked at ADM in the laboratory for the past 14 years. She loved her dogs, playing the guitar, and living on her farm. She was an avid Bears fan and loved red velvet cake. She never met a stranger and was very trusting of everyone. She had a heart of gold and gave anything and everything she had to help anyone. Pam was a loving sister, kind and generous. Her dogs were her children and brought her joy. She will be deeply missed by all. Surviving are her twin sister Patricia Pherigo (Steve) of Champaign, IL; niece Falon Trimble (Aaron) of Kapolei, HI; brother Mike Burnett (Arlene) of Decatur, IL; niece Tonya Davis (Jim) of Danvers, IL; great nephews Sam and Jason Davis of Danvers, IL; nephew Brian Burnett of Denver, CO; brother James K.
