Ozella C. (Wantland) Vogler Rexroat, 101, of Decatur, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:55 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Lincoln Rehabilitation Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Assemblies of God Missions. Ozella was born January 4, 1913 in Raymondville, MO, the daughter of Herschel L. and Faye (Lott) Wantland. She married David J. Vogler on October 13, 1932 in Harper, Kansas and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1985. She later married Russell Rexroat on August 17, 1997 in Decatur, IL and he preceded her in death. For a number of years she served the Lord as a pastor's wife and brought up her children to love the Lord. Her life was a loving example of what a Godly wife, mother and grandmother should be. She will be greatly missed by all of her family. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God (GT Church) since 1959. She retired from Decatur Public Library after many years of service. Ozella is survived by her children Phyllis F. (Forrest) Kerns of Columbus, OH, Margaret F. (Thomas) Davis of O'Fallon, IL, Rev. Paul F. (Ruth) Vogler of Menifee, CA, and Jonathan B. Vogler of Macon, GA; 13 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, son Donovan D. Vogler, five brothers and one sister. "
