Otto Cravens

Otto I. “Hank” Cravens, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 13, at Harristown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of his wife, Carol. Hank was born December 2, 1937, in Metropolis, IL, son of James Albert Cravens and Corene Mae (Tubbs) Foshee. He married Billie Carol Robison February 18, 1956 in Decatur. She preceded him in death February 22, 1988. Hank especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Hank is survived by his children: Larry A. Cravens, Deborah L. Gessaman, both of Decatur, and Brian R. (Nicole) Cravens of Latham, IL; grandchildren: Ashley (Justin) Zimmerman of Decatur, Erica Cravens (Brandon Poling) of Mt. Zion, Michelle (Kyle) Dye of Villa Grove, Michael Wond of Decatur, and Kameron Cravens of Latham; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters: Carolyn Bacon of Omaha, NE and Laura (Keith) Welker of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Carol.
