Olga (Palechka) Gordon, passed over to our Lord at age 97 on July 28, 2015. Olga was raised in Cleveland, OH. She married Ronald K. Ingram during WWII. Together they had a son Ron Jr. Ronald Ingram passed at the age of 27. She then married Charles D. Gordon, Sr. They had two children; Charles D. Gordon, Jr. and Pamela S. Gordon. Together they raised the children in Portland, MI. Seven years ago she relocated to Decatur, IL to live with her son Ron Ingram and daughter-in-law Sue Ingram. Sue graciously cared for Olga for six years after Ron's passing. Olga was blessed to have 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She loved to bake, can fruits and vegetables, and loved to play bridge. Sergeant Olga P. Gordon served our country in WWII at Eisenhower's Headquarters as a code transcriptionist. Her memorial service will be held at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Portland United Methodist Church, 310 Bridge St., Portland, MI 48875. Some say Olga was one in a million. Her family agrees with this assessment. "
