Norma Hundley

Norma Lee Hundley, 74, of Decatur, passed away at 5:25 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, in her home.Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Herrin, IL. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements.Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church or Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.Norma was born October 8, 1934, in Perks, IL, the daughter of John Oscar and Edna Marie (Taylor) Cross. She married Richard C. Hundley July 2, 1955, in Desoto, IL.Norma was a school bus driver, working for the Warrensburg School District for 25 years. She was a volunteer at Dove, Planned Parenthood, and Meals On Wheels.Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Richard of Decatur; children Richard John Hundley of Decatur, Roger Vaughn (Rose) Hundley of Robstown, TX, Emma (Mohammad) Houshmand of Collinsville, IL, Michael (Jenny) Lambdin of Forsyth, IL; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister Noveda (Tony) Feretich of Belleville, IL.Norma was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
