Norma T. Curtis, 80, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014, at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m Friday, January 17, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Norma was born January 20, 1933, in Morrisonville, IL, the daughter of Clarence A. and Olivia B. (Grundy) Jones. She married Warren D. Curtis on November 25, 1952, in Morrisonville. He preceded her in death in 1981. Norma was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She previously worked as a secretary for 18 years for Youth Advocate. She also worked for Kroger in Springfield for 8 years, was a Avon Representative for 14 years, and worked at the Crows Nest for several years. Norma enjoyed getting together with her friends playing bunco. Surviving are her daughters: Eileen Butts and husband Terry of Decatur, IL; Cindy Thomas and husband John of Mechanicsville, VA; and Sandy Brown and husband Terry of Decatur, IL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister Peach Ferrari and husband Mike; brother Howard Jones; special brother Butch Jones and wife Shirley; and special brother-in-law Don Curtis and wife Joette. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, and grandson. The family would like to give special thanks to Carolyn, Kim, and Shirley for all their compassionate care. "
