Nina C. Nash, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her beloved family.Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound, IL.Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements.Nina was born April 4, 1934 in Christian County, IL, the daughter of Earl and Ethel (Samples) Froedge. She married William A. Nash on August 3, 1951 in Decatur, IL and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2008.Nina was an avid bingo player, enjoyed reading and shopping, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her son William Allan (Paula) Nash of Mt. Zion, IL; daughter Cathy Ann (Fred) Garrett of Reno, NV; grandchildren Gary ( Courtney) Garrett, William “Billy” (Jodie) Nash, Laura (Jeremiah) Johnson, Rachael Donathan, Kimberly (Bob) Funk; sisters Wanda (Gene) Freese of Creswell, OR, Earlene Chapman of Warrenton, MO; 10 great grandchildren; and Nina’s beloved pet Shih-tzu “Daisy”.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, son Gregory, brother Harold, and beloved niece Sharon Evans.
