Nancy was born November 27, 1936, in Decatur, Ill., to Bob and Marjorie Warnick. She graduated from Warrensburg-Latham High School in 1954 and married James M. Taylor, her high school sweetheart, on Oct. 8, 1955. He wrote in his yearbook his ambition was to make a million dollars. She wrote in his yearbook, “I plan to spend Jim Taylor’s million dollars.” And she did. Not one to sit still, she embarked on a career that included stops at the Wabash Railroad Offices, Gebhart Motor Supply, and Decatur Memorial Hospital, until she landed in the banking industry. She retired from Busey Bank after many years.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Traci and the DMH Hospice staff and Tiara and Brakyia at Imboden Creek for their attentiveness to Nancy and the family.
