Nancy Starbody

Nancy Ann Starbody, 83, of Decatur, IL, died 2:58 a.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at her residence. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice. Nancy was born May 1, 1930 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Earl and Grace (Roberts) Bartlett. She married Fred Eugene Starbody on October 14, 1949 in Decatur, IL. Nancy was a great seamstress and loved knitting, reading, art, drawing, and golf. She especially enjoyed her lunches with "The Golden Girls". She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fred Eugene of Decatur; daughter Karen (Steve) Bellinger of Oreana, IL; sons John Craig (Cindy) Starbody of Decatur, Terry Eugene (Becky) Starbody of Decatur, Frank (Lori) Starbody of Maroa, IL; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. "
