CUSTOM DEATH NOTICENancy Ruth Grossman, 74, of Decatur, passed away Friday, September 26, 2008 at Heartland of Decatur Nursing Home.Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to Mass. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish or the Alzheimers Association.Nancy was born on August 1, 1934, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William and Ruth (Bottorff) Spence. She married Donald Grossman on May 15, 1954, in Decatur, IL.Nancy retired from Sears and Roebuck. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was an avid reader.Surviving are her husband of 54 years Donald, of Decatur; children Jeffrey Grossman and wife Laura of Elk Grove, CA, Kimberly Miller and husband Thomas of Terre Haute, IN, Scott Grossman and wife Robin of Elk Grove, CA, Kathy Laukaitis and husband Kent of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Carissa, Erin and Julie Grossman, Kyle, Kelley, and Kris Miller, Kaitlyn and Taylor Grossman, Matthew and Jordan Laukaitis; great grandchildren Mikayla, Lexi, and Tyler Markham, and Nicholas Gallo.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother William Spence, Jr. (Jane), and sister Doris Hackman (Frank).Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
