Nancy Gephart

Nancy Elizabeth Gephart was born to Dalzil and Carol Westfall on September 30, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan. She was called home to meet her Heavenly Father and much beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 30, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She and Glen Gephart were high school sweethearts and married on June 25, 1950 right after her high school graduation from Effingham High School in Effingham, IL. They served the Lord together for 58 years. God blessed them with a daughter and four sons. She poured out her love and servant's heart by making a Christian home and raising their 5 children in love of the Lord. Survivors include her sister Helen; her children Glen and Coleen Gephart, Carol and Rick Shutter, Terry and Alice Gephart, Tom and Gayla Gephart, and Tim and Beth Gephart. Also surviving were 35 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, one granddaughter and 2 great grand children. Her Heavenly Homegoing Celebration will be held at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, Illinois on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. with services at 4:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta, IL. "
