Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 2, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Cerro Gordo. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists, of Decatur.Nancy Corrine was born April 6, 1935 in Fountain Run, KY, the daughter of Porter and Edith (Stinson) Franklin. She married Russell R. Gentry on September 1, 1951 in Lovington. He survives.Nancy Corrine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family was the joy of her life. She was a homemaker and worked at Kindercare in Georgia and Decatur, taking care of the babies.Surviving are her husband, Russell of Cerro Gordo; sons, Russ (Donna) of Georgia, Bill (Jackie) of Argenta, Mike (Nancy) of Georgia, Porter of Cerro Gordo, Bob (Joanne) of Georgia, and Carroll (Celeste) of Cerro Gordo. Eight grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, brother, John Porter (Jeanette) Franklin of Decatur and sister, Kathleen (Don) Colwell of Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ivan, four sisters, Alta, Willene, Paula, and Trudy, and one grandson, Joseph Gentry.
