Nancy Ann Brennan's long journey home has ended. She passed away at age 76, in her home in Decatur, IL. Memorial Visitation will be 4 to 6 P.M. Friday, December 16, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Inurnment graveside services will be at noon on Saturday, December 17, at Brown Cemetery in Blue Mound Township. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cancer Care, 1800 E. Lakeshore Drive, Decatur, IL 62521. Nancy was born July 19, 1935, one of 14 children, to John and Margaret (Albers) Barnes. She was a loving sister, wife and mother. Nancy married Joseph Bailey Jr. and they had 3 children, Debbi, Tom and Nanette. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1995. She later married Ray Brennan on June 23, 1999 and they lived in Port Richie, FL. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2004. Nancy has worked many jobs over her life, including Kelly Potato Chips and Steak and Shake, becoming a manger at both. She was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 105 of Decatur and VFW Post 7845 of Port Richie, FL. Nancy loved everyone and never met a stranger. She is survived by her children Debbi S. Bailey, Tom (Debbie J.) Bailey, and Nanette (Jeff) McGlasson; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, stepchildren Pat (Larry) Hicks and Ray (Paula) Brennan Jr., 4 step grandchildren, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Joe Bailey and Ray Brennan, brother Bob and sisters Ruth, Barb and Pat. "
