Myra Lee Wachholz, 64, of Decatur, IL, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 29 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements.Memorials may be made to: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to Corman House (Myra’s group home).Myra was born May 27, 1951 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Richard Carl and Florence Emma (Lotz) Wachholz. Myra was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.Surviving are her sister LaMae A. Ryan and husband Thomas F. of Champaign, IL; nephew Jonathan T. Ryan of Champaign, IL; and several cousins including Suzanne Minton and husband Jim, Keith Storck and wife Ellen, all of Decatur, IL, and Sheryl Hartman and husband Jerry of Kokomo, IN.Myra was preceded in death by her parents.The family would like to give special thanks to her friends and family at Southside Manor and Corman House including Laura Corder and her staff.
