Mildred Snyder

Mildred L. Snyder, 94, of Mt. Zion, IL, died 2:01 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2013, at Heritage Health in Mt. Zion, IL. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Heritage Health Activities Fund or Donor's Choice. Mildred was born January 14, 1919, in Macon, IL, the daughter of Edward Lewis and Ivy (Scott) Jostes. She married John W. Snyder on September 7, 2002 in Mt. Zion, IL. He preceded her in death in October 2006. Mildred was a member of Presbyterian Church in Macon, IL and she attended Second Church of God in Decatur, IL. She worked at S.S. Kreske for several years. She is survived by known cousins, David Jostes of Rochester, IL, Phyllis and Herb Kihler of Newton, IL; 3 stepchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren, and 2 step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and one stepson. "
