Mildred Daisy Gulick, 94, of Decatur, IL, died 3:45 P.M., Friday, June 15, 2012, at McKinley Court, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2012 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Sharon United Methodist Church Building Maintenance Fund. Daisy was born December 27, 1917, in rural Strasburg, IL, the daughter of Virgil L. and Edna (Allen) Collins. She married Herbert Dale Gulick on April 29, 1950 in Decatur, IL. Daisy was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Maple Grove Unit of the Macon County H.C.E, and the Sharon Quilters. Daisy worked for Houdaille-Hershey in Decatur for 8 years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, church and community activities. Daisy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Herbert D. Gulick of Decatur, IL; sisters, Irma Wright of Decatur, IL, Betty Ann Skielnik of Mt. Pulaski, IL; brother Herbert A. Collins of Strasburg, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
