Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 18, at Salem Baptist Church. Family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time. The family request casual attire. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.Michelle was born March 12, 1968, in Decatur, the daughter of Mary Wiest. She married Gene Schuman, Jr. February 18, 1989, in Decatur.Surviving are her husband Gene Schuman, Jr. of Decatur; sons Jeffery and Jared Schuman both of Decatur; mother Mary (Wiest) Davis and husband Dale of Decatur; stepfather Umberto Bertoldo of Vicenza, Italy; sister Anna Sinnott and husband Bill Sinnott II of Springfield, IL; brother Michael Bertoldo of Decatur; nieces and nephews:Jayce Bertoldo, The Sinnott on-the-way, Kelsey Osborne, Justin and Jordan Ballard, Amber Wood, Jerry Born and wife Jennifer, MaryAnn Born and fianc Keith; special friends: Gene Schuman, Sr., Jerry and Dorothy Born, Lori Wood, Jim and Patti Koonce, Gary and Janet Rottler, Katie Bloch, Michelle Ronek, Vicki Kennedy, Dylan Nunn, Phillip Trapini, Steve and Sandy Collett, Genes Prairie Intl coworkers, Carla Shaw and Karen Behen, Scott and Jane England; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.Michelle was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica Marie Schuman, mother-in-law Marlene Schuman, grandparents Lewis and Mary Wiest, Luigi and Clara Bertoldo.The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Wall, Dr Peter Birk, Lydia, ICU West RN, and Matt, ICU West RN.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
