Michael Scire Wells, 64, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at his residence. Michael was born January 1, 1955, in Decatur, IL, the son of Forrest Edmund and Effie Ruth (Scire) Wells. He was an insurance salesman for his entire career. Michael enjoyed water skiing, riding his mountain bike, boating, and spending time with his 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his children Gretchen L. Craven and husband Joshua A. of Springfield, IL, Grant M. Wells of Decatur; grandchildren Emmy, Livy, and Liam Craven of Springfield; sister Pamela Long of Macon, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. "
