Michael (Mike) Park, 42, of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his residence.A private family service will be held at Boiling Springs Church of God at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evan Michael Park in care of Land of Lincoln Credit Union or donor’s choice. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family.Mike was born October 24, 1974 in Decatur, son of Duane S. and Debra A. (Miller) Park. Mike was a member of Boiling Springs Church of God. He was a sound engineer in the music industry and enjoyed music. He graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1992 and attended Columbia College in Chicago. Surviving are his parents Duane and Debra of Decatur, IL; son Evan Michael Park of Decatur, IL; sister Amanda Slosson and husband Eric, niece Marissa Slosson and nephew Quinn Slosson, all of Chesapeake, VA; maternal grandmother Henrietta Henneman and husband William of Decatur, IL; and companion Anna Spencer of Decatur, IL.Mike was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
