Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 28, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Illiopolis, IL.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.Michael was born November 8, 1953, in Niantic, IL, the son of Merle E. and M. Jane (Irvin) Moore. He married Brenda Huddleston on November 11, 2000, in Latham, IL.Michael was a truck driver for McLeod Trucking. He was a former member of St. Anns Catholic Church. Michael was a former President of the Village Board of Niantic, a member of the Niantic Civic Club, and former Chief and EMT of the Niantic Volunteer Fire Dept.Surviving are his wife Brenda of Decatur, IL; daughter Melissa Johanning of Decatur, IL, sons Tom Moore and wife Courtney of Bloomington, IL, and Brent Moore of Charleston, S.C.; Brendas children Melissa Shafer and husband Scott of Dalton City, IL and Jeremy Huddleston of Decatur, IL; five grandchildren; and sister Janet Rayburn and husband Mark of Bloomington, IL.Michael was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Ashley, and son-in-law David.
