Michael Drabing

Michael “Big Mike” Drabing, 55, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Big Mike was born June 13, 1964, in Springfield, IL, son of David and Marilyn (Cockrum) Drabing. He married Linda Clark on July 18, 1987, in Decatur. Big Mike was a veteran serving his country with the U.S. Army. He worked for Fleetmaster Trucking for 20 years. He loved motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidson and could often be found riding with his friends. He was a devoted family man, and especially enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. Surviving is his wife Linda of Decatur; mother Marilyn Drabing of Decatur; daughters: Myranda Luttrell (Sam), Cassie Drabing, and Mikey Drabing (Steve Goodman), all of Decatur; grandsons: Christian and Mason; brother: Robert (Kimberly) Drabing of Decatur; sister: Barbara (Darren) Huntting of California; three nephews and three nieces. Big Mike was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
