Marylyn C. Peck, 89, of Decatur, IL, died 6:55 a.m., Thursday, November 28, 2013, in Mason Point, senior living community, Sullivan, IL. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to New Beginnings Church of God. Marylyn was born August 4, 1924 in Mt. Olive, IL, the daughter of Carl and Mary Prott. She married Jack "Bill" Peck on April 4, 1948 in Decatur, IL. Marylyn worked several years for the U.S. Postal Service and later retired from Taylor Pharmaceutical. She enjoyed helping and being with her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Sheri Doak of Nashville, TN; son Dwight "Bud" Peck and wife Della of Macon, IL; grandchildren Andrew Doak and wife Ramya, Tim Doak, Austin and Kayla Peck; sister Elvira Fyalka of Mt. Olive, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack and sister Ramona Klausing. "
