Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at La Place United Methodist Church, La Place, IL. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M., Monday, April 5, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL. Burial will be in La Place Cemetery, La Place, IL.Memorials may be made to Homeward Bound Pet Shelter.Marylee was born November 4, 1946, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Donald and Jeanette (Boatman) Coon. She was raised by her grandparents Nova & Alta Yeast of La Place, IL. Marylee married Donald William Ryan on June 5, 1965, in Marshall, IL. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1998. Marylee was a member of La Place United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Cerro Gordo H.S. and Parkland School of Nursing. She worked at DMH, McKinley Terrace, Fair Havens Christian Home, Heritage Manor, and St. Marys Hospital.She is survived by her children Richard E. Ryan (Marie) of Buckner, KY, Angela Babiak (Jeff) of La Place, IL; grandchildren Zachary Warnick, Jonah Ryan, Paige Ryan; sisters Sharon Santrock (Ron) of Urbana, IL, Ellen Webb (Richard) of Urbana, IL; brothers Joe Coon (Norma) of Spring Valley, CA, Michael Brinkley of Chrisman, IL; several nieces and nephews; special little buddy Luca; furry grandchildren Rox, Brandy, Shaggy, Max, Inky.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Nova & Alta, parents, husband Donald, one brother and 4 sisters.
