Maryann Hahn

Maryann Elizabeth Hahn, 93, of Kewanee, IL, formerly of Decatur, was called by the Lord to her eternal rest on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 29, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, June 28, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Maryann was born May 20, 1919, in Oakley, IL, the daughter of Adolph and Minnie (Kaminski) Doddek. She married Arthur H. Hahn on December 8, 1945 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death in March 1991. Maryann was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as a store manager at Quick Way Foods and Sunshine Dairy. Maryann enjoyed quilting, fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son Gary Hahn and wife Mary; daughter Barbara Nelson and husband Charles; brother Richard Doddek; grandchildren Susan May and husband John, Randy Hahn and wife Katie, Kristin McDonald and husband Sean, Kelly Hahn, Douglas Hahn and wife Jennifer, Nicole Nelson, Andy Nelson and wife Jennifer; great grandchildren Caylah May, Madelyn and Eleanor Hahn, Aidan and Alexander McDonald, Sullivan and Grady Nelson. Preceding in death are her parents, husband, Arthur; siblings, Mildred Doddek, Ruth Gentry, John Doddek, Edward Doddek, William Doddek, Helen Doddek, and Arthur Doddek.
