Mary Walters

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 11 at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 10 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Macon County Animal Shelter.Mary was born February 20, 1925, in Ft. Wayne, IN, the daughter of Pearle Jackson and Mary Ellen (Holman) Jackson. She married Either Otis Buck Walters on August 14, 1943, in Decatur. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2007.Mary enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her yard. She collected dolls and teddy bears.Surviving are her children Julie Howard of Decatur, Raymond (Carole) Walters of Decatur, Bill (Vickie) Walters of Hot Springs, AR, and Dan Walters of Hot Springs, AR. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
