Mary Thorogood

Mary Frances Thorogood, 64, of Decatur passed away May 1, 2022 at her home.A Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday May 4, 2022 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. A Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur. Memorial Contributions in Mary’s Honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Mary was born July 26, 1957 in Decatur, the daughter of J.M. and Barbara (Fields) Robinson. She was married to Steven Thorogood for 26 years, he preceded her in death. Mary was an office manager for many years working for Federal Johnson Allied Van Lines in Decatur and Springfield. She enjoyed playing pool, camping, crafting, but most of all spending time with her friends. She is survived by her daughter Courtney (Matt) Mattingly of Eureka, MO and 2 grandchildren. She also leaves behind several close friends that took great care of her until the time of her passing. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband: Steven Thorogood.
