Mary Taylor

Mary Jane (Kessel) Taylor, 92, of Decatur, died Tuesday night, October 28, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 31, 2014, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made in memory of Mary Jane's daughter, Janet Doran, to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mrs. Taylor was born April 1, 1922, in Middlesworth, IL, the daughter of Fred and Jane Kessel. She married John William Taylor September 12, 1939, in St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Taylor worked at J.C. Penney's and was a homemaker, as well as a proud grandmother. Mary Jane is survived by her daughter Nancy L. Wade and husband Jerry of Decatur, son Robert W. Taylor of Decatur, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren, brother Albert Kessel of Ohio. She was preceded in death by husband John W. Taylor, daughter Janet Doran, son James Taylor, grandson Jimmy Taylor, and great great grandson Daniel Kennedy "
