Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, September 15, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL.Memorials may be made to Decatur Memorial Foundation.Mary was born January 24, 1922, in Piatt County, IL, the daughter of Zella A. and Hester (Latch) Traxler. She married T. Wayne Cochran in August 1940, in Bowling Green, KY. He preceded her in death in August 1957. She later married Erwin M. Swam, in October 1968, in Decatur. He preceded her in death in April 1988.Mary retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in 1983 after 18 years of service.Surviving are her son Phillip Cochran and wife Betty of Decatur; daughter Beverly A. Riley and husband Ronald of Decatur; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; ten step great grandchildren; and sister Lois Kern of Bloomington.She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sisters, and one brother.
