Mary Stuber, 84, of Decatur, IL, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Mary was born July 30, 1932, in Bemidji, MN. She married Paul Harris and he preceded her in death. She later married Bob Stuber, who also preceded her in death. Mary enjoyed bowling and was a member of Eagle Ridge Bowling Team. She is survived by her brothers Roger (Jackie) Vanderlaan of Santa Barbara, CA, Fred (Kathie) Vanderlaan of Port Orange, FL, Nick Vanderlaan of Decatur; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Vanderlaan of Ventura, CA; children Mary Lou (Joe) Delagarza of Alvin, TX, Evelyn (Jerry) Livingston of Springhill, LA, Bill (Elizabeth) Harris of Edinburgh, TX, Sandy Stuber of Anaheim, CA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mary helped raise three of her grandchildren, Ryan, Ricky, and Amber, and they consider her a second “Mom”. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, children Tammy & Fritzy Stuber, brother Ron, and sister Betty. "
