Mary L. Ragan, 96, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2023.
Graveside service will be 11:30 AM, Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 -11:00 AM, Thursday at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur.
Mary was born May 26, 1927 in Decatur, the daughter of John and Gladys (Long) Logan. She married Eugene L. Ragan on November 15, 1945 and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1996. Mary worked for Taylor Pharmaceutical for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Carolyn Stone of Forsyth, Gary Ragan (Sherri) of Decatur, and Terry Ragan of Shelbyville; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers: Dewayne Logan of Decatur and Thomas (Janet) Logan of Little Rock, AR; sister: Darlene Logan of Rogers, AR; sisters-in-law: Donna Logan of Argenta, and Doris Logan of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; daughters: Sandra Brinkley and Brenda Patrick; brothers: Charles, Donald, John, Derald, Jerald, Louis and James; sisters: Josephine Thompson and Betty Standerfer and two sisters in infancy.
