Mary Johnson

Mary M. Johnson, 76, of Decatur, IL, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Memorials: American Heart Association. Mary was born February 18, 1936 in Bradford, IL, the daughter of Dorothy Edith McBride and Herman A. Buckman. She married Les Girven in 1953 in Kewanee, IL. They divorced. She later married Edward Johnson, May 31, 1975 in Kewanee, IL. He passed away June 25, 2002. Mary retired from the food service of the Plano, TX School District. She was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid animal lover. She is survived by her sons Larry and Steven Girven, 2 stepsons, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, brother and stepson. "
