Mary Eloise Hiser, 88, of Oreana, IL., passed away Saturday (05-03-2008) at 6:05 P.M. in Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday (05-07-2008) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. with visitation on Tuesday (05-06-2008) from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be at Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to: Garver Brick Church.Eloise was born on December 20, 1919 in Milmine, IL., the daughter of Guy Wayne Dobson and Ferne (Turney) Dobson. She married Milo E. Hiser on April 17, 1941 at the Milmine Christian Church in Milmine, IL.She was a member of the Oakley United Methodist Church and upon its closing, she transferred her membership to the Garver Brick Church. Eloise worked for thirty years as a secretary for the Macon County Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation. She belonged to the Wednesday Friendship Club, and was a member of the Oakley Home Bureau. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. David Baumberger and his staff, Dr. William Franklin, D.M.H. I.C.U. and a special thank you to Lydia, Angela of I.C.U. and Connie from respiratory care.Surviving are her husband Milo of Oreana, IL.,; daughter: Karen (Hiser) Nolan of Oreana, IL.; three grandchildren: Le Anne Mateer and husband Brian of Mt. Pleasant, MI., formerly of Forsyth, IL., Bob Laskowski and wife Pam of Mt. Zion, IL., and Jeff Laskowski and wife Lorie of Oreana, IL.; six great-grandchildren: Matthew Mateer, Lauren Mateer, Adrianna Laskowski, step great-grandson: Anthony Miller, Luke Laskowski, Rachel Laskowski, and Gabrielle Laskowski; and one sister Lorraine Albert and husband Adrian of Oakley, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Wilma Liestman and Carolyn Yordy, and one brother Wayne Dobson.Eloise was very special, who was loved by everybody. She had a very loving and caring heart towards everyone. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
