Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Central Christian Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church.Mary was born January 27, 1911, in Maywood, IL, the daughter of Adolphus E. and Bessie M. (Clevinger) Rouland. She married Hubert E. Helmle on May 7, 1929 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death.Mary was a legal secretary and homemaker. She was a member of Central Christian Church and was active on many church committees, especially enjoying her work with the Linus Project. For 10 years she volunteered at Fair Havens Christian Home.She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Duane) Potter of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Dr. Paul (Terrie) Potter of Decatur, IL, Steve Potter and Tom (Joy) Potter, both of Mesa, AZ, Karen Thomas of Decatur, IL, Julia (Bill) Moore of Lebanon, IN, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hubert, and brother Ralph Rouland. "
