Mary E. Harrison, 68, of Decatur, IL, passed away 3:10 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation after 5 p.m., Thursday, June 19, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association. Mary was born August 29, 1945 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William R. "Buck" and Helen F. (Lake) Turner. She married Roger L. Harrison on March 30, 1970 in Carlinville, IL. Mary worked as a waitress for "Frankies", "Raggedy Ann", "Rooster Inn", and "Wheel Inn" restaurants. She later worked for the Monticello Police Dept. as a meter maid and then went to Job Training Partnership Association and retired from the Piatt County Mental Health Center. Mary was a member of Prairie View Baptist Church in Lake City, IL. She enjoyed and looked forward to all family functions. Mary was a Fighting Illini Basketball fan, and enjoyed bowling and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roger of Decatur, IL; father Buck Turner of Decatur, IL; children Patty (Tim) Struck of McLean, IL, Tiffany (Jody) Scott of Clinton, IL; grandchildren Holly (Cory) McGinnis, Job (Ashley) Brightwell, "K-Dub" (Autumn) Scrimager, Tamzin (Jared) Coleman, Jessi Scott, Brittney Struck, Taylor Struck, Benjamin Struck; great grandchildren Peyton, Karsen, Cale, Liam; brother Pat Turner of Pleasant Prairie, WI; life long friend Pattie Cyrulic of Mt. Pulaski, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother, and one great grandson. "
