Mary Gwin

Mary Marie (Hendrickson) Gwin, 86, of Decatur, IL, formerly of Mattoon, IL, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 30, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Mary was born September 2, 1927 in Charleston, IL. She married John F. Gwin on July 19, 1952. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1993. Mary attended Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Decatur. She worked for Parks Egg Farm in Warrensburg, IL then later worked at Carlton Cleaning Center for 15 years. Mary was an avid Bingo player and also enjoyed bowling at Eldorado Bowl. Surviving are her sons: Robert F. (Margaret) Gwin of Lovington, IL, James D. (Patricia) Gwin of Minco, OK, and Brett W. (Tina) Gwin of Harristown, IL. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. "
