Mary Rosalie Gardner, 85, of Decatur, died at 4:45 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Moweaqua Nursing Center, Moweaqua, IL, with the assistance of hospice, and with her husband at her bedside. Visitation for Rosalie will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Additional visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday, followed by funeral services at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home, Salem, IL. Casual attire is suggested. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Salem, IL. Rosalie was born on December 14, 1929, in Odin, IL, a daughter of Oren Lee and Verna Louise Seiber Black. She married Tony Fear in April of 1951. He preceded her in death in February of 1968. She later married John Gardner in Decatur, IL on April 1, 1972. He survives. Rosalie was a long-time employee of F.W. Means Co, later Aramark Corp, in Decatur, from 1951 to 1986. In her leisure time, she thoroughly enjoyed big band ballroom dancing, the big bands' style of music, and dining out at many local restaurants, especially Bob Evans and Perkins. She is survived by her husband: John, of Decatur; and one sister: Benita (David) K. Moore, of Galesburg, IL. "
