Mary E. Cullison, 92, of Forsyth, IL, passed away at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, at Forsyth United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL. Mary was born March 26, 1921, in Macon, IL, the daughter of Rolland W. and Millie E. (Carr) Stombaugh. She married Everett E. Cullison on October 15, 1952 in Macon, IL. He preceded her in death in 1996. Mary was an active member of Forsyth United Methodist Church, including membership in the Crusaders Sunday School Class and the church quilting group. She previously worked as a payroll bookkeeper for Wabash Railroad, then farmed with her husband until retirement. Mary also enjoyed playing cards and traveling with both her family and the Macon Co. Farm Bureau "Prime Timers". She was a member of the Tacusah Chapter #682, O.E.S. Surviving are her children: James E. (Denise) Cullison of Atwood, IL; Nancy E. (Barry) Lynch, of Decatur, IL; Dennis L. (Patricia) Cullison, of San Diego, CA; Keith A. (Julia) Cullison, of Zionsville, IN; and Marsha K. Stelzriede, of Decatur, IL; one brother: J. Howard Stombaugh, of Decatur, IL; and grandchildren: Robert Cullison, Shondra and Daniel Lynch, Christina and Michael Cullison, Shane and Trent Cullison, Blake and Logan Stelzriede; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law: Stephen E. Stelzriede; and one brother: Edward Stombaugh. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Forsyth United Methodist Church. "
