Mary E. Beery, 92, of Decatur, IL, died Monday, September 10, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL, with visitation from 5 to 7 P.M., Wednesday, September 12, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund. Mary was born January 26, 1920 in Cerro Gordo, IL, the daughter of Edwin and Lula (Leedy) Vulgamott. She married Elmer Bowrey in 1946 in Cerro Gordo, IL and he preceded her in death in 1963. She later married Francis Beery in 1969 in Cerro Gordo, IL and he preceded her in death in 2000. Mary was a member of Central Baptist Church. She retired as Managing Officer of the Building and Loan Association of Cerro Gordo. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie (Leon) Pierson of Decatur, IL and Connie Bowrey of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren Kyle, Katana, Rob, Randy, Jason; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two brothers and one sister. "
