Mary V. Barker, 66, of Decatur, IL, died 10:25 P.M., Thursday, November 27, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital, Decatur, IL.Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 1, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time. Memorials may be made to St. Marys Hospital I.C.U. Dept.Mary was born August 4, 1942, in Greenwood, Wisconsin, the daughter of Everett and Minnie (Robison) Baldwin. She married Cecil Barker on January 26, 1985 in Decatur, IL.Mary was owner/operator of Marys Beauty Shop and later worked for Eagles Grocery Store as a night head cashier. She enjoyed quilting, computers, cooking and especially loved her grandchildren. Mary was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for 50 years.She is survived by her husband Cecil of Decatur, IL; son Tim (Christa) Barker of Coral Springs, FL; daughter Terri (Jeff) Bechtel of Peoria, IL; son Roy (Barb) Barker of Mattoon, IL; daughter Marsha (Roy) Brumleve of Teutopolis, IL; grandchildren Brian, Christopher, and Andrew Barker of Coral Springs, FL, Zachary and Jarod Bechtel of Peoria, IL, Addison and Brock Brumleve of Teutopolis, IL; sister Lois Steen of Cerro Gordo, IL; uncle Loren Henry of Shelbyville, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
