Mary M. Baker, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur, IL.Eastern Star services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2017, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 10:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Graveside services and burial will be 12:00 p.m. at Ritchie Cemetery in Oakley Twp. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice.Mary was born March 26, 1926 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Earl and Clara (Kruger) Stolley. She married Charles W. Baker on July 21, 1949 in Stewardson, IL. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2000.Mary enjoyed volunteering in the community, loved the outdoors, flower gardening, taking long walks on her property and nature. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own. Mary was a member of Eastern Star Decatur Chapter #111 and Wesley United Methodist Church.She is survived by her sisters-in-law Nancy (Clyde) Fansler of Cerro Gordo and Gloria Stolley of Mt. Zion; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews, and dear friends Jerry and Judy Newberry.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Fred, Ed, Robert, and Harry Stolley.The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Dr. Khan, Dr. Kola and their staff and 4th floor nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their excellent care of Mary.
