Martha Ellen Prasun, 84, of Decatur, IL, passed away 6:27 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. A memorial reception will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 13, at the home of Monte and Marilyn Prasun in Decatur. Cremation rites will be accorded by Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Memorial Medical Center, Heart Failure Disease Management Program, 340 W. Miller, 2nd floor, Springfield, IL 62781-0001. Martha was born January 4, 1931 in Assumption, IL, the daughter of William Morris and Clara A. (Edwards) Christenberry. She married Eugene W. Prasun on January 4, 1949 in Taylorville, IL. Martha was an assistant cook at Harristown Schools. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #36 in Decatur and Elks Lodge #401. She is survived by her children Jeanie Logue and husband Benny of Decatur, IL, Deloris Nerhus and husband Robert of Suprise, AZ, Arlene Trusner and husband Terry of Cape Coral, FL, Monte Prasun and wife Marilyn of Decatur; 5 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren; and sister Clara Bilyeu of Springfield, IL; and niece Julie Winklepleck of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene, grandson Jarrod Rhodes, and seven brothers and sisters. "
