Martha Louise Rowland McNulty of Decatur, IL, passed away at 1:26 PM, November 1, 2012, on her 84th birthday, at Heartland Manor Care. Services to celebrate Martha's life will be held at Noon, Wednesday, November 7, at Concordia Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 3303 E. Maryland, Decatur, IL 62521 or The American Cancer Society. Martha was born on November 1, 1928, in Coles Station, IL, the daughter of William C. and Edith Wellbaum Rowland. She married Robert McNulty on June 17, 1950. Martha was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Martha leaves to cherish her memories her husband of sixty-two years, Bob of Decatur; son Mike of Florida and his children Brawn McNulty of California and Erik McNulty of Florida; son Steve McNulty and wife Norma of Venice, Florida; daughter Debbie Luth and husband Mickey of Germantown, TN, grandchildren Laura Luth of Atlanta, GA and Brian Luth of Indianapolis, IN; step grandsons Matthew (Louize) Bovey, Adam Bovey and step-great-grandson Jack Hughes all of England. Sisters Betty Hughes and Wanda Vaughan (Bob) of Decatur; Wilma Alexander of Mt. Zion and Eileen Harrington (Dean Shipman) of Sullivan. Brothers Bob (Eileen) Rowland of Colorado Springs, CO and Jim Rowland of Mattoon; brother-in-laws Bud Lampe of Mattoon and Calvin Gibbons of Sullivan. Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Kay McNulty, granddaughter, Erika Leigh Fortner, three sisters Linda Gibbons, Donna Lampe and Jean Sarver, her brother Bill Rowland, her parents and very special friends John and Joyce Eddinger, several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Heartland Health Care Center, Cancer Care Center Specialists of Decatur and Decatur Memorial Hospital Hospice for their loving care and support. A special thank you to her niece Connie Scribner who was always there for every need; Pastor Robert Bruer and all of her wonderful friends and family who called, visited and sent her cards. Your love and friendship truly made a difference to Martha. Martha was a loving wife, mother, Granny and a caring friend to many. "
