Woollen, 63, of Cerro Gordo, IL., passed away at 10:45 P.M. on Saturday (12-12-2009) at Heartland Health Care, Decatur, IL.A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Oakley Brick Church of the Brethren, Oakley, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to the Oakley Brick Church of the Brethren, Oakley, IL. or The Cerro Gordo Ambulance Service, Cerro Gordo, IL.Marla was born on November 13, 1946 in Cerro Gordo, IL., the daughter of Marcus Woollen and Wilma (Stuller) Woollen. Marla was a member of the Oakley Brick Church of the Brethren. She graduated from Richland Community College. Marla owned and operated Pretty Petals by Marla in Cerro Gordo, IL. She loved flower arranging, decorating, jazz and big band music. She loved life fully like no other.She is survived by her children: Jill Stewart and husband Robert of Lake Villa, IL. and Jeff Reynolds of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; sister: Sona Nichols of Cerro Gordo, IL.; grandchildren: Ryan, Christopher, Sarah, Robert Jr., Renee, and Victoria; several nieces and nephews; special niece: Connie Roberts; special friends: Nancy Kay, Liz, Jean, Martha, Betty, Mary Lee, and Connie.Marla was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.The family would like to give special thanks to St. Marys Staff for their excellent support and care.
