Mark Melon S. Cox, 53, of Decatur, IL, died Monday, February 1, 2010, at his residence.Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, February 3, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Davey A. Cox fund.Mark was born February 1, 1957, in Decatur, IL, the son of Glenn Steven and Shirley (Johnson) Cox. He worked for Christy-Foltz for 5 years and was a member of Local 159. Mark enjoyed NASCAR and loved spending time with his son.Mark is survived by his son Davey Cox of Decatur, IL; fiancee Robin Owens of Decatur, IL; sister Karen (Mike) Reynolds of Dalton City, IL; brothers Bruce and Craig Cox, both of Decatur, IL; special cousin Linda (Archie) Davidson of Decatur, IL; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
