Marjorie Ann Warnick, 88, of Decatur, IL, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Lincoln Rehabilitation Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Safe Havens Hospice, LLC, c/o Christian Homes, 200 N. Postville Drive, Lincoln, IL 62656. Marjorie was born October 15, 1925 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and Mabel (Tuttle) Houk. She married James Dale Warnick on February 1, 1948 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2005. Marjorie was a secretary for Illinois Power, retiring after many years of service. She enjoyed playing bridge and pinochle and was a member of Kiwanians Club. Marjorie was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children Jeffrey Warnick and wife Kathy, and Jamie Warnick; grandchildren Margaret Querrey, Joesph Querrey, Jennifer Warnick, and Kelly Warnick Brown and husband Michael Brown; brother Richard Houk. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers. The family would like to thank Lincoln Rehabilitation Center and staff for the loving care given to Marjorie during her journey. A special thank you also to Safe Havens Hospice for making her final days more comfortable. "
