Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, May 21 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.Memorials may be made to American Legion Childrens Youth.Marjorie was born April 13, 1921, in Assumption, IL, the daughter of Floyd and Lucille (Storey) Weakly. She married Lester Stockdale on September 19, 1973 in Decatur, IL. Marjorie was a member of First Christian Church in Findlay, IL. She worked for Marvel Schebler for 32 years as a shipping and packing clerk and was active with American Legion Womens Auxiliary for many years, serving as Past President of the organization.She is survived by her husband Lester of Decatur, IL; son Oscar LeRoy and wife Marilyn Weakley of Findlay, IL, stepdaughters Donna Thomas and husband Murrell of Amherst, VA, Darlene Furtak and husband Ed of Ashland, KY; grandchildren Rebecca Purdeu of Hillsboro, IN, Robert Weakley of Santa Fe, NM, Richard Weakley of Memphis, TN; 5 great grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren, 4 step great great grandchildren; brother-in-law Dwight Stockdale and wife Melba of Decatur, IL; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband O.J.
