Marjorie Ellen Grubbs, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away on March 9, 2025.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Marjorie was born on November 11, 1933, in Oakley, IL, the daughter of Lester Wayne and Opal Marie (Turner) Morr. She married William C. Grubbs on July 8, 1951, in Decatur, IL.

Marjorie made a loving home and raised six children with her husband in Decatur. She opened her heart and home to multiple foster babies, was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved to golf and was a charter member of the YWCA Senior Women’s Golf. She always had a kind word for everybody.

Surviving are her children Susan G. Klukis, Steven D. (Jackie) Grubbs, Shirlene G. (Don) Bowser, Sheena G. Lugten, Stuart D. (Robin) Grubbs, Stacy G. (Jeff) Cribbs; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Preceding Marjorie in death are her husband, parents, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
